Tag

A Tag in ConfigHub is a named entity that can be used to identify a set of Revisions across Units. It is analoguous to tags in git, but it supports standard ConfigHub metadata (e.g., Labels, Annotations), which can be used to organize, track, and discover Tags used for distinct purposes, such as merge points.

Operations that operate on specific revisions, either on individual units or in bulk operations, such as restore, approve, and apply, can utilize tags.
